The YWCA Missoula is a mighty force of roughly 50 paid staff, over 300 volunteers, members of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and AmeriCorps VISTA, and practicum and intern students. We depend on the individuals in this force to carry out the YWCA mission. In return, we will build leadership from within and promote leadership skills on all levels of the organization. The dedication of our volunteers is what allows the YWCA to serve the women and children who need our help, 24 hours a day. The best way for you to figure out how and where you would like to volunteer is to take a tour of our mission and programs.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Want to answer our 24-hour crisis line or work at the shelter? Pathways volunteers join our team of advocates in providing crisis intervention and emotional support to women, children and men survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Volunteers must attend a 35-hour professional-caliber training, offered bi-annually. If you are interested in becoming an Advocate and getting on the list for the next training, email Lacy at [email protected].
