Your tax-deductible donation will help us end domestic and sexual violence, change the lives of homeless women and children for the better, and transform the community so that all people have peace, justice, freedom, and dignity. The YWCA, a 501(c)3, is funded in part by United Way.

Make A Donation

Your tax-deductible donation will help families in crisis. Any donation above $35 gives you an individual year-long membership to the YWCA and makes you eligible for 20% off at all Secret Seconds stores.

Make a Planned Gift

Planned giving is a way to make a charitable gift that the YWCA receives at a future date. Planned gifts can provide valuable tax benefits and some provide income for life, while supporting critical programs at the YWCA. For more information, contact Julie at (406) 543-6691 or jmaturen@ywcaofmissoula.org for more info.

Other Ways to Donate

Small Items

You can donate to our programs by providing basics, such as food, cell phones, and toiletries. Check out our wish list for an up-to-date list of items in need. Gift certificates for food, gasoline, and other essential items are also gladly accepted.

Donations may be dropped off Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the YWCA, 1130 W. Broadway, Missoula.

Large Items

Did you know you can donate a car? Transportation can be one of the biggest barriers to families trying to start over. Donated cars go directly to clients, so they must be in good condition. You can also claim your car’s fair market value on their income tax return. To learn more, call E’Lise at (406) 543-6691.

The YWCA is often in need of new or gently used bedroom furniture for our Domestic Violence Shelter, including full- and single-size beds, bunk bed sets, mattresses, dressers and nightstands. If you have furniture you would like to donate, e-mail Maria at mnewbold@ywcaofmissoula.org, or call (406) 543-6691.
